LANAP
If you are looking for an alternative to traditional periodontal surgery, consider Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP). In addition to being minimally invasive, recovery is usually faster than traditional gum surgeries, with minimal post-operative discomfort.
LANAP targets unhealthy tissue and bacteria, removing them from the gums before addressing accumulated tartar on the root surfaces. This conservative, minimally invasive process makes it easier for your periodontist in Norwood to preserve the healthy portions of your gums while encouraging bone renewal.
Dental Implants
Tooth loss is something roughly 178 million Americans struggle with. If you’re one of them, don’t settle for a restricted diet and low self-esteem. Our experts can rebuild your smile with dental implants in Norwood, a state-of-the-art solution that can last for 30+ years.
As titanium posts that are positioned within the jawbone, these prosthetics offer optimal stability, function, and aesthetics, proving they are the closest thing to natural teeth. Our periodontists have the advanced training and expertise to provide this service in-house using the latest technologies for more accurate and successful placement. When finished, a beautiful new restoration is attached to reveal a healthier, fully restored smile.
Bone Grafts/Sinus Lifts
If your jawbone isn’t strong enough to support dental implants or there isn’t enough bone between your jaw and your maxillary sinuses, we can provide a bone graft or sinus lift. These procedures are often necessary if you have been without your natural teeth for an extended period.
By offering these procedures in-house, you can stay with the same trustworthy, reliable team from start to finish. We’ll carefully review the status of your jawbone and determine how best to proceed. Whether the tissues are retrieved from your body or from a donor, we will ensure they integrate successfully with your bone, creating a denser, more durable foundation for your new dental implants.
Additional Periodontal Services
Whether you’re visiting us for a small treatment or extensive care, you can trust that our services will enhance the health and aesthetics of your smile. One of the most beneficial cosmetic treatments we provide is crown lengthening. Designed to expose more of your natural tooth structure so you can complete cosmetic or restorative treatment, we will remove excess gum tissue to create a more aesthetically pleasing smile.
If you choose crown lengthening for cosmetic reasons, you will enjoy a more balanced gumline that makes you feel more confident about your appearance than before. If you require restorative treatment but lack sufficient tooth structure to receive a custom crown, this beneficial procedure will deliver the results you need.
