Get to Know Dr. Chrysi Boutari
Dr. Boutari has dedicated her career and several years of advanced training to one simple goal: helping people smile. She uses her expertise to provide certainty for people dealing with gum disease and tooth loss, guiding them toward the health, comfort, and aesthetics they desire. As a periodontist in Braintree, she has garnered a reputation for kindness, patience, and incredible work that stands the test of time.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Growing up in Greece, Dr. Boutari spent a lot of time at her father’s dental practice. She loved seeing how he and his team would make people feel comfortable and confident about their smiles. As she grew and learned more about the profession, it felt like the right path for her, and still does to this day.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After attending dental school in Athens, Greece, Dr. Boutari went on to complete years of specialty training at the University of Pennsylvania focused on periodontics and periodontal prostheses. She then attended the Advanced Standing DMD Program through Boston University. She’s now a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Boutari and her husband, Fotis, have a young son who brings plenty of energy and wonder to their lives. When she isn’t swimming or skiing in her free time, she likes to travel back home to Greece to connect with family as well as enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean summers.
